Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2/3 c shortening
  • 2/3 c butter
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
    • Combine sugar, shortening, butter and mix until smooth.  Stir in eggs.  Add vanilla.
  • 2 2/3 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pkg (6 oz) Andes mint chocolate chunks
    • Add flour, soda and salt.  Mix well.  Add chips.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.
