Creamy Christmas Eggnog

CAUTION:  This has raw eggs, so drink at your own risk!

  • 8 eggs, separated
  • 12 Tbs sugar
  • 6 c milk
  • 6 tsp flavoring (vanilla, almond, or rum)
  • 2 c heavy cream
  • 2 tsp nutmeg

Beat egg whites until soft peaks from.  Add yolks and beat well.  Gradually add sugar.  Add milk and flavoring.

Whip the cream and fold gently into eggnog.

Sprinkle with nutmeg.
