Rhubarb Pineapple Treat

  • 1 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c tapioca
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 c raw rhubarb
  • 2 1/2 c water
  • 3 drops red food coloring
  • 1 c crushed pineapple
Combine all ingredients (except pineapple) and cook over medium heat until rhubarb is tender, stirring constantly.
Cool and add pineapple and serve.
