Pumpkin Pie Dessert Squares

CRUST:
  • 1 yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
    • Mix together and press into a greased 9x13 pan.
FILLING:
  • 1 lrg can pumpkin pie mix (not plain pumpkin)
  • 2/3 c evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
    • Mix and pour onto crust.
TOPPING:
  • 1 c reserved cake mix
  • 1/4 c packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
    • Mix all together and sprinkle over filling.
  • 1 stick of butter
    • Cut butter into squares and dot the top of the filling with the butter pieces.
Bake for 50 – 60 min at 350 degrees or until knife comes out clean.
Top with whipped cream (optional).
