Guacamole

  • 5 small avocados (aprox 2 c), mashed
  • 1 c diced tomatoes 
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Wash avocados with cold water.  Remove peel and pit.  Place avocados in bowl and add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt and lemon juice.  Mash until smooth and no lumps remain (be careful not to over mash as this will make the guacamole watery).  Add tomatoes to mashed avocado mixture and stir with a spoon until thoroughly blended.  Cover and refrigerate until needed.
